pulled off the road rolled up a smoke - started to learn about you what you do
walked in as the clock struck 3 am - i just knew right away
in the shadows and up the walls - these guys were ready to pay
got approached by an eight feet tall girl - she had fire in her eyes
looked at me reached out into my soul - checked out my headspace for truth and for lies
atmosphere was alive with crazy vibe - seen nothing like it before
girls were dancing but not like you and me - feet weren't touching the floor
heart pounding bursting through my skin - head was starting to spin
walked out into the sun at 9 - we gotta do this again and again

AOTY candidate of the year '23. '23? I was afraid Reflections wouldn't come close to Io, tarnishing the legacy to me. Finally gave it chance: it's different, but definitely a Lowrider album. What always made them special for me was a relaxed groove coupled with a driving energy. On Io it's like galloping a motorcycle through an amazing landscape at 200 kmh in a meditative state. Here it turns night and you slow down a bit, gazing 3rd eye, enjoying the aurora borealis
